Title: I went to a Korean restaurant with my friends
Last Monday, i went to a new Korean restaurant in Crietie. with my japaness friends. we were supposed to meet at 7, but i got there 6:30. Waiting for them, i went to a Korean grocery store. i just looked around to kill my time.
Finally, 7o'clock....i met my friends. One korean ,who was me, 2 Japaness friends and one Canadian friend. It was like a conversatoin parter time. I was a little nervous because i invited them to the Korean town. For this reason, i brought them to a new rastaurant which was the biggest i have ever been. We ordered two dishes ; Dduc Boc Gi and Dac Gal Bi. Those are famous Korean food for foreigners. We ate and talked. they were really curious about our culture. Actually, the canadian guy, who has been to Japan, wanted to learn Asian culture.
So i introduced my custom and some famous tourist places. After the time, i listened to his impression in Japan. He knew a lot of Japan more than the Japaness guys.
We had lots of fun and we promised to come the restaurant again.

Hi Jimmy,
What a good idea! I think that the sharing of cultural traditions and ideas is important. Food is a good way to begin although it's not really "Korean culture or Korean philosophy".
I also think that it's good to try to understand the different conceptions of reality and life. Each culture is based on very different histories and assumptions. It's interesting that the Canadian knew so much about Japan. Is it possible that the Japanese guys just didn't want to talk?
